LAUNDRY DAY

For this project, I thought long and hard about my backdrop and what would be an interesting take on the traditional backdrop. In my research, I pulled memories from living in Haiti. Out of those memories came ‘Laundry Day’. On laundry day (Jou Lesiv) it is typical to see clothes drying on clotheslines. I decided to channel that into this shoot by using my clothes and clothes I found around the house as a backdrop.
