SELF-PORTRAITS

I think the source of my self portraits is anger and frustration. Very much on some “Things are not moving fast enough so I’ll do it myself” energy. I often use myself as a subject for the most personal topics and to test out some of my stranger ideas.

The confined space of a bathroom can truly emulate the warped mental state that anyone can have while feeling stuck. I wanted this to feel as if at any time the walls would start closing in- in- in- until the subject eventually suffocates.
